Margaret Shetterly wife of George Shetterly who was a plank owner on the USS Mills passed away from natural causes on March 22, 2019. She goes on to be with George Shetterly who has been sailing Heaven's seas since September 22,, 1990 Thanks to all of his shipmates.

Served on Mills for two Deepfreeze Cruises and then left her in Baltimore. Out for college and then back in for time on O'Callahan, Robison, and Towers before choosing a career working for the Army. Guess I like serving one way or the other.

Hi David, I left the Mills in 1962, went to IC a school in Great Lakes, then went aboard a DDG. They sent me back to Automatic Telephone school. The DDG had a 100 line strowger switch system. - Old School stuff. Thanks for dropping by. Gabby
